The 2023 Seoul EOU Cup U-18 International Youth Competition will be held at Mokdong Sports Complex next month on the 10th, 12th and 15th, with Korea, Ukraine, Vietnam and Morocco competing for the title in a full league format. Kim proved his coaching prowess at the 24th FIFA U-20 World Cup in June, when the team reached the quarterfinals. “It is an honor to serve as an ambassador for a tournament with such a good cause,” said Kim. “The tournament, which means ‘Earth On Us,’ will promote the importance of a sustainable planet through soccer. We hope that the participation of the war-torn Ukraine and the earthquake-affected Morocco will send a message of peace and environmental preservation.”

“The importance of age-based national teams is growing day by day, and it would be great to see athletes develop their skills through these various international competitions. We will continue to promote various competitions so that the meaning of EOU can be conveyed to many people.”
