The most challenging holes on the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour competition courses in the 2023 season were the 11th hole (par-4, 506 yards) at Seowon Valley CC, which hosted the LG SIGNATURE Players Championship, and the 9th hole (par-4, 444 yards) at Woojung Hills CC, which hosted the Kolon 65th Korea Open.
The Korea Professional Golf Association recently reported that the 11th hole at Seowon Valley CC was the most difficult hole, with an average stroke average of 4.55 strokes, 0.55 strokes higher than the standard, and a green hit rate of 18.08 strokes over the four days.
There were only three birdies on the 11th hole during the tournament, the fewest in a Korean Tour event this year.
There were 90 bogeys, 13 double bogeys and six triple bogeys.

Titleist Golf Balls #1 in Usage and #1 in Wins
Titleist said it was the No. 1 brand in usage and No. 1 in winning percentage across all major tour golf ball categories worldwide this year.
“This year, Titleist golf balls reached a milestone of 75 consecutive years of #1 usage on the PGA Tour (1949 U.S. Open to present).
It led the nine major tours around the world in average ball usage and winning percentage at 70%,” the company said recently.
The Fiji Tour topped the list with a 72 percent usage rate and 60 percent winning percentage, and the El Fiji Tour topped the list with a 77 percent usage rate and 67 percent winning percentage.
