Milwaukee to cut spending by sending Robin Lopez

The Milwaukee Bucks have taken control of their spending.

According to ESPN reporter Adrian Woznarowski, Milwaukee will send Robin Lopez (center, 216 cm, 127 kg) to the Sacramento Kings on the 9th (Korea time).

Milwaukee agreed to take cash from Sacramento instead of sending Lopez.

Kings get cash

What about Bugs?
Milwaukee has started managing its finances. It slightly lowered its total salary when it sent Lopez. Initially, Milwaukee exceeded its second April this season (about $182.7 million). However, it did not exceed the section this time when it sent Lopez and did not accept any other players. This will allow it to avoid various constraints that could have arisen in the future.

Lopez nestled in Milwaukee before this season. He, who also played for Milwaukee during the 2019-2020 season, was called back by the team. However, his performance has been worse this season than then. He played 4.1 minutes per game in 16 games, earning only 1.1 points (.368.250 1.000). He organized his players well in trade because he had to pay even for a simple release.

Why Kings?

Sacramento sent out cash and received Lopez. Lopez was released after the trade. He sent Lopez out and signed a two-way deal, Kean Ellis. Sacramento signed him to a regular contract with a three-year, $5.56 million contract. Michael Scoto, a reporter for Hooptype, added that Ellis’s team option was included in the final year of his contract.
