IPG Signatures For Asia-Pacific Distribution Contracts Novomatic

Austria-based gaming equipment maker and operator Novomatic Group said it has signed a distribution agreement with Australia-based Ino Pacific Gaming (IPG). The latter company will distribute Novomatic’s full range of gaming products and systems to the Asia-Pacific region, according to a press release on Thursday.

India Pacific Gaming is a multi-species distributor and operator of gaming products. According to the company’s website, it has been supplying casino gaming equipment and slot machine systems to gaming venues across the Asia-Pacific region since 1989.

Under the deal announced on Thursday, Indo-Pacific Gaming will offer sales distribution in Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Goa, Nepal and Vietnam. The Novamatic range consists of slot machines, market-driven games and multi-game mixes, electronic table games, systems, jackpots, sports betting and media technologies.

Novomatic said in a release that the partnership will accelerate the company’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.

“By partnering with India Pacific Gaming, which has a very strong track record in these regions, Novomatic will strengthen its position and reach to deliver products and services to new and existing customers,” Robert Dykstra, vice president of business development and sales for Asia Pacific, left, said in a prepared statement.

An Austrian supplier of gaming technology launched a new electronic gaming console cabinet called the V.I.P. Eagle 3.32 at the International Casino Show (ICE) 2019 in London last week. A Novomatic spokesperson told GGRAsia that the V.I.P. Eagle 3.32 will go on sale in Asia.

In Thursday’s announcement, Novomatic said its Asia-themed portfolio of slot games was expanding, adding that several new titles such as “Dragon Hits” and “Asian Dragon Hot” debuted at ICE 2019.

The data also quoted Lauren Stout (pictured right), vice president of operations and sales at Pacific Gaming in India, as saying the distribution agreement “further strengthens” the company’s product portfolio.

Harald Neumann, chief executive of Novomatic, told a news conference on ICE last week that he expected to post record sales for the full year of 2018.
