Its Hwang Sun-woo and Ahn Se-young Bet on Hangzhou Gold

Hwang Seon-woo (20, Gangwon Provincial Office), Ahn Se-young (21, Samsung Life Insurance), Woo Sang-hyuk (27, Yongin City Hall), and Shin Yu-bin (19) were promising prospects at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics but failed to win a medal.

Korean Air) has established itself as the ‘signature star’ of Korean sports in just two years.

After competing in a dramatic competition for 16 days at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, they will run again toward the Paris Olympics, which opens in July next year.

Hwang Sun-woo won six medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games, which closed on the 8th.

In particular, he won gold medals in the men’s 200m freestyle, a strategic event, and in the men’s 800m relay, which is a strategic event.  먹튀검증사이트

He set a new Korean record in the 200m freestyle final with a time of 1 minute 44.40 seconds, and in the 800m with Kim Woo-min

Yang Jae-hoon, and Lee Ho-jun, he set a new Asian record of 7 minutes 01.73 seconds.

Sunwoo Hwang became the first Korean athlete and the first Asian athlete to reach the finals of the 100m freestyle event at the Tokyo Olympics in 65 years.

In the 200m freestyle preliminaries, he succeeded in advancing to the finals for the first time in 9 years since Park Tae-hwan at the 2012 London Games.

At the time, he placed 7th and failed to win a medal, but now things have changed.

The 1 minute, 44.40 seconds that Hwang Sun-woo recorded at the Asian Games ranks among the top on the world stage.

Sunwoo Hwang won a bronze medal at the Fukuoka World Championships held last July with a time of 1 minute 44.42 seconds.

The gap between him and 1st place Matthew Richards (Great Britain, 1 minute 44.30 seconds) and 2nd place Tom Dean (Great Britain, 1 minute 44.32 seconds) is not large.

His encouraging discipline is the 800m relay.

Our national team’s record of 7 minutes 01.73 seconds at this Asian Games is the 3rd place record based on the Fukuoka World Championships.

Gold medalist Great Britain hit the mark in 6 minutes 59.08 seconds, second place USA in 7 minutes 02 seconds, and third place Australia in 7 minutes 02.13 minutes.

Korea, which ranked 6th with a time of 7 minutes 04.07 seconds at the time, shortened its record by more than 2 seconds in just two months.

If this continues, the first relay medal in the history of the Paris Olympics will not be just a dream.

Sunwoo Hwang said, “I won two medals at the World Championships (silver in the 200m in 2022 and bronze in 2023), and won a gold medal in the first Asian Games.

Now I will work harder to win an Olympic medal,” he said.

My goal for 2024 is to break into the 1:43 mark for the 200m freestyle.

If we reach this record, an Olympic medal will follow,” he said.

Ahn Se-young, who is currently ranked No. 1 in badminton in the world, also had a bitter taste at the Tokyo Olympics two years ago.

Because in the women’s singles quarterfinals, she lost 0-2 to Chen Yufei (China).

She was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Ahn Se-young.

She fell on the court and was unable to get up for a while.

In the first round of the 2018 Jakarta/Palembang Games, she bowed to Chen Wei Fei.

After training without resting for three years, Ahn Se-young shed tears of disappointment as she failed to overcome Chen Wei Fei again in the quarterfinals of the Tokyo Olympics.

Even though she cried, she did not feel frustrated.

She worked so hard and if it doesn’t work, she needs to work harder,” she said, vowing to come back stronger.

Two years later, Ahn Se-young became number one in the world.

Last March, she won the women’s singles gold medal at the All England Open

the most prestigious badminton competition, 27 years after Bang Bang-hyun in 1996, and at the Hangzhou Asian Games

she also won the women’s singles title 29 years after Bang Bang-hyun at the 1994 Hiroshima Games.

She won two gold medals until she won the women’s team event, overwhelming her ‘natural enemy’ Chen Yufei in both the team and individual competitions.

The sight of her standing on top of the podium despite feeling intense pain in her knee after sustaining an injury during her individual competition greatly impressed the nation.

Ahn Se-young’s goal is the ‘Grand Slam’ of sweeping the Olympics, World Championships, Asian Games, and Asian Championships.

Ahn Se-young, who became the first Korean badminton singles champion at the Copenhagen World Championships last August, has her sights set on the Paris Olympics.

Se-young Ahn expressed her aspirations, saying, “I will work hard to get to the Paris Olympics.”

Although she narrowly missed out on the gold medal, her idol brother also set his sights on a Tokyo Olympic medal more clearly through the Asian Games.

Woo Sang-hyuk, who placed 4th at the Tokyo Olympics by surpassing 2m35m, did not win a medal, but has since become a world-class jumper.

He wrote a new history in Korean track and field, including winning the 2022 World Indoor Championships (2m34) and the 2023 Diamond League Final (2m35).

Woo Sang-hyuk, who has already secured the right to participate by passing the Paris Olympic standard record (2m33), will challenge for the first Olympic medal in Korean track and field history.

Shin Yu-bin and Jeon Ji-hee and her team won the Asian Games gold medal in table tennis women’s doubles, becoming the first Korean player in 21 years.

Shin Yu-bin also attracted a lot of attention with her bubbly, ‘Generation Z’ attitude at award ceremonies.

After winning the women’s doubles gold medal, she drew a heart and held an arrow-shooting ceremony, and on the mixed doubles bronze medal podium, she performed a ball heart ceremony with her partner Lim Jong-hoon.

As her fellow bronze medalist Jang Woo-jin tidied up Jeon Ji-hee’s collar, Lim Jong-hoon followed suit by fiddling with Shin Yu-bin’s medal string, and the Chinese crowd cheered enthusiastically.

This is one of the most famous scenes in the Asian Games.
