SOFTSWISS, which provides digital technology to the online betting and online casino sector, has helped secure more than 13 million euros ($14.2 million) for industry customers over 2023 through the work of its anti-fraud team within SOFTSWISS Managed Services.
“We highlight our commitment to delivering exceptional service in the dynamic environment of the iGaming industry and ensuring success for our customers,” Ilya Nesterov, head of the anti-fraud team, said in a press release on Friday.
Over the course of the year, the team is known to have handled over 100,000 tasks efficiently, the company noted, “showing a 62% year-over-year increase in production.” Problems ranged from operator requests and player identification to reports of questionable activities.
SOFTSWISS said fraud “mainly” related to “bonus abuse” was detected, which had a lower proportion of money laundering. The rest of the cases involved claims cases, abuse of payment systems and other various forms of fraudulent activity.
“In addition to this, the team has successfully addressed more than 200 player complaints submitted to regulators or industry forums. Based on our vast expertise, we meticulously analyze each difficult case to provide operators with careful consultation on how to resolve it before it escalates.”
The anti-fraud boss added: “By efficiently resolving named disputes and complaints submitted by players, we were able to help SOFTSWISS customers save an additional €350,000.”
SOFTSWISS said it was developing an “advanced automation tool” to monitor players’ questionable behavior and assess their corresponding levels of risk.
“This innovative system uses a wide range of available indicators and metrics to improve accuracy and effectiveness in identifying potential risks,” the company said in an update on Friday.
The company says more than 200 casino brands already use its Managed Services. Part of the business covers frontline support, VIP player support, player retention and reactivation, and content management.
