Head coach Colleen Bell’s South Korea women’s national team (17th in FIFA rankings) will take on Colombia (25th) in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on Friday at 11 a.m. ET in their first Group H match of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia New Zealand.
According to the lineup released ahead of the match, South Korea will feature a number of experienced veterans.
It’s more of a 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 formation. It’s a similar lineup to the one they used against Haiti in the virtual Colombia match on Aug. 8.
