French media reports “PSG asks club for transfer”
Brazilian soccer star Neymar, who won the favor of Korean soccer fans by showing off his “bromance” with Lee Kang-in at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the French Ligue 1, has been linked to a move away from the club.
French media outlet L’Equipe reported on July 7 (KST) that Neymar has informed PSG of his desire to return to his hometown team FC Barcelona (Spain).
Now that Ousmane Dembele’s move to PSG has been finalized, Barcelona is trying to lure Neymar back.
However, it doesn’t seem likely. Neymar has three years left on his contract at PSG.
It’s also unlikely that Barcelona, who recently failed to bring back Lionel Messi due to financial difficulties, would be willing to part with a big-money player like Neymar.
It’s also unclear if PSG will sell Neymar, another key player, after they left Kylian Mbappe out of the first team, who refused to renew his contract and is pursuing a move to Real Madrid.
Of course, nothing is impossible in the soccer transfer market.
There is still a chance that PSG could sell Neymar, who has been underutilized due to frequent injuries since joining PSG in 2017.
In fact, Neymar had to undergo surgery on his right ankle last season.
Luis Enrique’s desire to rebuild the team with younger players like Lee Kang-in could also play a role.
Neymar’s departure would be a disappointment for Lee.
Since joining PSG, Lee has worked closely with the world’s biggest star. 스포츠토토맨 The pair were recently spotted joking around during pre-season in Busan.
