The biggest mistake in the history of the Premier League

The VAR officials who oversaw the match between Tottenham and Liverpool knew there was an error in the call.

Within seven seconds of the restart, the England referee and the VAR realized that a major miscommunication had occurred. “Diaz’s goal was ruled offside by the on-field officials. This was a clear error and the goal should have been awarded through VAR intervention, but it was not. PGMOL will conduct a full review of the circumstances in which the error occurred,” the statement read, but the damage done to Liverpool is irreparable.
