Professional basketball team Wonju DB showed off its fearsome under-the-basket power to extend its winning streak to six games.
DB rode the strength of Dedrick Lawson (27 points), Kang Sang-jae and Kim Jong-kyu (16 points apiece) to an 87-71 victory over Suwon KT in an away game of the 2023-2024 regular season at the Suwon KT Arena on Nov. 21.
DB extended its winning streak on the road to seven games and remained atop the standings with a 13-1 record.
DB played a dominant first half, completely controlling the floor.
While KT only managed to grab 10 rebounds in the first half, DB grabbed a whopping 27 rebounds.
In particular, DB’s Kang Sang-jae scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the first half, including seven offensive rebounds.

At the end of the fourth quarter, the rebounding margin was 47-29 in favor of DB.
KT was joined by Heo Hoon and Moon Sung-gon, who retired from the army on the 18th, but they were missing their best player, Ha Yoon-ki, due to injury.

Anyang Jungkwan held off a late charge from Daegu KOGAS 98-93 behind a 20-point performance from Choi Sung-won in a game played at Daegu Gymnasium.
