Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min had a lonely day.
The South Korean starter started and played the full match against Wolverhampton at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England, on Nov. 11 in the 12th round of the 2023-24 English Premier League (EPL), but was unable to find the back of the net.
Playing up front, Son was often isolated in the attacking third alongside Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kluczewski as they looked to find the back of the net for Wolverhampton.
The loss of Jason Maddison and the likes of Michy Batshuayi to injury proved too much.
Instead of shooting, Heung-Min Son moved between the second line and the flanks to create chances for his teammates.
However, there were very few balls coming his way and the chances he did create were few and far between. His 36 touches on the day were the fewest among the attackers.
However, he did create two chances on the counterattack that gave the team some energy.
In the 27th minute, he sent a one-timer from near the centerline to Kluczewski, who was surging down the right side, and set up Brennan Johnson for a shot, and in the 43rd minute, he received a ball from Bentancur on the counterattack and tried to shoot directly in front of three defenders. 온라인카지노

Meanwhile, Son Heung-min had a tough game, getting punched in the face and stepped on in the groin by an opposing defender, especially in the second half of stoppage time when he was brought down in a tussle with defender Crack Dawson and then stepped on in the groin by a soccer shoe.
Dawson was shown a yellow card.
Despite Son’s struggles, however, the team fell to a pair of late theater goals in stoppage time.
Brennan Johnson scored his debut goal in the third minute of the first half to put Spurs ahead, but Pablo Sarabia equalized in the first minute of second-half stoppage time and Lemina struck in the seventh minute of added time to give Wolverhampton a 2-1 win.
It was Tottenham’s second straight defeat, following a 1-4 shocker at Chelsea in Round 11.
