Mittwillan midfielder Cho Kyu-sung (Mittwillan) has been in fine form ahead of the winter break.
Cho scored two goals in a 5-1 home win over Viborg in the 17th round of the 2023-2024 Superliga at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark on Friday (Feb. 5).
It was Cho’s seventh and eighth goals of the season, his first multi-goal game in the Danish top flight, and he moved into third place on the league scoring list with eight goals.
The team goes into the winter break in good spirits with 11 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses (36 points).
The Superliga will resume next February with the 18th round.

Frontline striker Cho Kyu-sung tied the game at 1-1 in the first half when he converted a penalty kick after a foul on the opposing goalkeeper, and then scored the team’s fourth goal in the 21st minute of the second half with a sharp right-footed shot from the front of the goal area that rattled the corner of the net. 온라인카지노
Cho indirectly contributed to Ola Brynhildsen’s final goal in the 39th minute of the second half by connecting the ball with her head from near the arc.
With her eighth goal of the season, Cho moved within two goals of the team lead (10), and her two assists gave her double-digit offensive points for the season.
Football stats site Footmob gave Cho a 9.1 rating, the highest of any player on either side of the ball.
Cho will be rested and is expected to be called up to the national team for the Asian Cup in Qatar next January.
Jürgen Klinsmann has alternated between Hwang Eui-jo (Norwich City) and Cho Kyu-sung as his frontline options.
However, Hwang’s ineligibility for the national team has increased the pressure on Cho Kyu-sung.
The fact that Cho is thriving on the European stage is a huge boost for Klinsmann.
