Ontario C$21M Jackpot, OLG Confirmed

The Ontario Lottery and Game Company recently announced last week that millions of dollars in Lotto 6/49 lottery wins were won by local ticket holders. According to a report by the Crown Agency, the CA$21 million win went to one lucky player living in Lake Kawarta. The winner now has 52 weeks to claim their massive windfall.

Lotto 6/49 is a popular game among Canadian fans of Lotto offers, and is drawn twice a week. One of the draws is Wednesday and the other is Saturday. Every year, people in Ontario receive hundreds of millions of Canadian dollars in cash, whether it’s one of the standard prize money or a million Canadian dollars guarantee prize awarded every round.

The Crown Corporation confirmed through a draw on February 26, 2022 that it has finally found the winner of the Lotto 6/49 winnings. This prize is CA$21,593,703.80, and the lucky ticket holder is somewhere in Lake Kawarta, Ontario. The Crown advises the winner to call 1-800-387-0098 to book a reservation at the OLG Center for the winnings claim.

In addition, OLG said there were still unclaimed prizes in the previous lottery draw. The agency said it had one Encore Lotto Max ticket worth over CA$1 million since April 30, 2021, and someone from Wellland won. In addition, Lotto 6/49 tickets worth CA$57,065.30 will be sold in Mississauga and expire at the end of May 2022.

The Crown Agency also said Peter Stefanovic, from Brandford, earned CA $2 million from Instant CA $2 million Extreme. The 60-year-old retiree claimed the check, played the game and won the CA $40 for the first time, and then used it for a ticket that eventually brought him CA $2 million to win a huge prize.

Mr Stefanovic also said he bought the ticket at Essen King George Road in Brandford. Due to the huge windfall, he plans to share tickets with children and have time to make other decisions. He is now considering buying a new truck and a new set of golf clubs for himself as snacks.

Most recently, OLG also paid CA$2,200,000,000 in prize money from the Lotto Max game, and the winner is Gary Myles, of Oakville, Ontario. His ticket was drawn as winning the January draw, and a man working in the IT department found out about winning his wife’s birthday and said it was a huge birthday present for both of them.

The Western Canadian Lottery Company announced in mid-February that someone from Saskatchewan had won an amazing CA$20 million. The winning combination was from the draw on February 15, 2022, and the bonus numbers were 19, 26, 28, 36, 40, 42, 48 and 6. Winners are advised to contact the organization to discuss when they can claim.
