South Korean soccer prospect Kim Min-soo (18-Girona) will try to qualify for the UEFA Champions League (UCL) in the ‘War of the Stars’.
Girona, of Spain’s Primera Liga (La Liga), will host PSV Eindhoven at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on June 6 at 2:45 a.m. KST in the fourth leg of the UCL League Phase of the 2024-2025 season.
Girona currently sit in 24th place with a record of 1-2-2 (3 points), while PSV are 28th with a record of 2-1-1 (2 points).
Both teams are in desperate need of a win if they want to move up the table.
Ahead of the match, Girona announced a 19-man squad to face PSV, with Kim Min-soo making an appearance.
Kim joined Girona’s U-19 team in 2022 and has played for the B team.
However, he was recently called up to the first team due to injuries to first-team resources earlier this season.

At 18 years, 6 months and 30 days old, he broke the record for the youngest South Korean UCL debut, surpassing the previous record of 19 years and 2 months set by Jung Woo-young (25-Union Berlin) for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga.
While Kim won’t break the record for the youngest debut, he will help another promising youngster continue his dream run.
