MLB.com announced the results of the voting on Monday (Nov. 28), with the two players heading directly to the MLB All-Star Game next month on Nov. 17 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Yankees outfielder Judge received a total of 3.452 million votes, earning the honor for the second time in his career.
First baseman Harper, with 3.279 million votes, became the first Philadelphia player to top the fan vote in 31 years since John Crook in 1993.
Through 27 games, Jersey is batting .309 with 30 home runs, 77 RBIs and a 1.145 on-base percentage (OPS), leading the league in home runs, RBIs and OPS.
This will be Jersey’s sixth All-Star Game appearance, having made his first in 2017.
Harper is batting .305 with 20 home runs, 57 RBIs, and a .987 OPS, and is making his eighth All-Star Game appearance.
Outside of Judge and Harper, the top two first-place vote-getters will receive a second round of voting.
The final Fan Vote All-Star roster, which will be determined by the second round of voting, will be announced on March 4.
